Most weddings are emotional, some are wild, and some are just pure joy. Dave & Ferg’s wedding in Bristol was all three rolled up into one beautiful, colourful celebration of love, laughter, and a whole lot of dancing.

THE CEREMONY AT BRISTOL REGISTRY OFFICE

The day kicked off at Bristol Registry Office, where Dave & Ferg tied the knot surrounded by their amazing friends and family. The room was full of that buzzing, can’t sit still energy, the kind that tells you everyone REALLY loves these two. From the cheers as they entered to the tears of the guests, every inch of the room was bursting with joy.

As a wedding photographer in Bristol, I’ve seen my fair share of ceremonies, but this one? It was special. Genuine, relaxed and full of personality just like the couple themselves.

FULL OF PRIDE

The best part? Their wedding day landed right on Bristol Pride, which couldn’t have been more perfect. The whole city was alive, music, flags & cheers it was like the universe threw them the world’s biggest afterparty.

That vibrant, unapologetic energy carried through the whole day. Everywhere you looked, there were bursts of colour, laughter, and love.

THE RECEPTION AT OLD MARKET ASSEMBLY

After the “I do’s,” everyone made their way to The Old Market Assembly, one of my favourite Bristol venues for its character and warmth. Ferg had DIY’d the decor from top to bottom, from the handmade banners to the perfectly styled tables... and it looked unreal.

Every detail screamed personality. No Pinterest clones here. Just a couple who poured themselves into every inch of their day.

LAUGHTER, SPEECHES AND A SISTER ACT SURPRISE

If I had to sum up the reception in one word? FUN.

The speeches had everyone in stitches, the perfect mix of love and absolute roasting (you know the kind). Then came the surprises: a film about the couple that had everyone laughing and crying in equal measure, and a Sister Act flash mob that took the energy to another level. I’m not kidding - it was legendary. And to keep in the theme of Legendary they both made grand entrances to their first dance dressed in inflatable peacock and unicorn costumes!

FROM NEWLYWEDS TO DJ MASTERS

Once the formalities were done, Dave & Ferg did what they do best — took over the decks. Being DJs themselves, the night turned into a full-blown club set. Lights, beats, friends, family — the vibe was electric.

I don’t think anyone left the dance floor all night, and honestly? I don’t blame them.
